It can be harmful to a person who receives it if he is not spiritually mature. If you tell a criminal that he is God, he will misuse this knowledge to justify his immoral actions. Krishna declares that He is God. This is a secret because it cannot be delivered to a person who is not yet mature. God cannot be given as instant coffee. You can't just have God instantly. A maturation process is necessary. Actually the more you hurry this process, the greater the delay. The very hurrying will postpone the experience. It will not let you relax.
