This is the FM soundtrack of the Sega Master System port of the Arcade classic R-Type. The japanese version of the Sega Master System, called the Sega Mark III, received an accessory that upgraded the system's sound in games programmed to use it. The SMS MarkIII version includes an extra track to accompany the extra stage unique to this version. This medley was recorded using real hardware.
