Carnatic vocal music is traditionally accompanied with a Violin or like in ancient times, with a Vina and Mridangam, Gatam and Kanjira percussions. Audrey Prem Kumar studied for seven years carnatic vocal, vina, Sanskrit, Tamil and Indian music theory in one of the most famous Indian University of Arts, Kalakshetra, in Chennai.
